Pam Halter was a home-schooling mom for nine years and has been a children’s book author since 1995. She has published the picture books, Beatrice Loses Her Doll and Beatrice’s New Clothes (Concordia, 2001), Willoughby and the Terribly Itchy Itch (Fruitbearer Kids, 2017) and Willoughby and the Lumpy Bumpy Cake (Fruitbearer Kids, 2018). She was selected to attend the Highlights Whole Novel Workshop for Fantasy in 2010, was named Writer of the Year in 2014 at the Greater Philadelphia Christian Writers Conference and won the Reader’s Choice Award in the short story contest hosted by Realm Makers and Brimstone Fiction in 2015. Her first YA fantasy novel, Fairyeater, will be releasing in August 2018 through Love2ReadLove2Write Publishing. Pam lives in New Jersey with her husband, daughter, and mother-in-law. When she’s not writing or editing, Pam enjoys quilting, cooking, gardening, reading, theatre, music, and Bible study. In the years Pam has been editing picture books, several of the authors she’s worked with have won awards. Most recently, Nickerbacher the Funniest Dragon by Terry Barto won a Storymonsters Award and a Gold Mom’s Choice award.
