Tap into your child’s imagination! When is a quilt more than a quilt? When it’s placed in the hands of six-year-old Chase at an age when imagination knows no limits. This beautifully illustrated book weaves a tale of a young boy’s prized possession-a well-loved coverlet (or blanket) which magically seems to turn the ordinary into the extraordinary. Share this delightful story with your child and imagine the possibilities. About the Author: Dalen Keys has a B.S. in chemistry from the University of North Alabama and a Ph.D. in chemistry from Rice University. He has devoted himself to the development of new technology and products in printing, electronics and displays. In undertaking his first writing venture, Dalen has integrated his wife Mitzie’s passion for quilting with the imagination of his real son, Chase. Dalen has three children, three dogs and too much of his wife’s fabric scattered throughout their house in Landenberg, PA. About the Illustrator: Kim Sponaugle is a graduate of the Art Institute of Philadelphia and has worked in graphic arts and illustration for twenty years. She is a South Jersey girl at heart and has lived in Salem County most of her life. In 2007, Kim started Picture Kitchen Studio and has not looked back, illustrating more than 20 children’s books with more on the way. Just like Chase, Kim has a much-loved quilt that belonged to her grandmother. When she snuggles up in that old quilt, it reminds her of her grandma’s love and prayers. Kim and her husband Jerry have one son, Josh, and a little bug-eating Westie named Casey.
